TOP COM BUSINESS 2003: The GRAVELEAU Transports get the PRIZE in the category “COMMUNICATION STRATEGY”

On Thursday 6 February 2003, in Paris (Room Negocia / CCI), the GRAVELEAU Transports got the prize in the category “COMMUNICATION STRATEGY”. The trophy has been given to Philippe TARDIEU, Group Manager, in the presence of Vincent TOUYA, Marketing Manager. This prize – explained the spokesman of the jury – rewards the thought of a firm, which with a budget incomparable to other main groups in competition, has managed to design with coherence and pertinence, a communication strategy turned towards the concept of the customers satisfaction of its customers, around a simple and universal word : THANK YOU

We have to point out that this PRIZE awarded for the first time a private firm of Haulage, offering to our profession a choice platform to promote its image by being referenced among great names of the industry, in the communication’s field.
In November 2002, GRAVELEAU Portugal, subsidiary of the Group with sites in Porto and Lisbon had also the place of honour by being elected by the economical Portuguese magazine “EXAME”, the best firm of its country in the branch Carriage and Distribution.
For information, the prizes TOP COM BUSINESS 2003 are organized by TOP COM, institution which presents each year a congress gathering professionals in communication. In total, 296 applications were given, in 9 various categories : Publishing, Public Relations, Design, Marketing, Multimedia, Campaign, Patronage, Sponsoring and Communication Strategy. The 10 juries and the 43 jurors met in December to examine the applications and choose the award-winners of the various categories. On 4 and 5 February, the award-winners (Vincent TOUYA for GRAVELEAU) were invited to defend their application during 15 minutes.
