• On 3 November 2008, GRAVELEAU was awarded the status of AEO [Authorized Economic Operator – Customs Simplifications] by the Customs Administration.

To date this status has only been granted to 13 companies in France, which gives some idea of the magnitude of this achievement, particularly as GRAVELEAU must be amongst the very first operators in its sector to apply for it.

For the 50 GRAVELEAU employees across 23 integrated branches who manage the customs formalities associated with the company’s overland, air and sea services on a day-to-day basis, this status is a seal of approval for their expertise. For our clients, it is a genuine guarantee of our professionalism; for GRAVELEAU its award was of course subject to our giving signed undertakings to the Administration that we would adhere to certain conventions and procedures and abide by a very strict set of terms and conditions relating to the customs formalities that we carry out.
