After CASABLANCA, GRAVELEAU the very first international haulier in Morocco, invests in Tangier.

• The Transports GRAVELEAU are about to finish the building of a bonded warehouse in Tangier, which covers an area of 7 500 square metres.

With this tool for the sum of 1.3 million Euros, GRAVELEAU is looked on as a pioneer, by being the first international haulier to invest in a bonded warehouse in Tangier. In fact, GRAVELEAU is the first international haulier to have two bonded warehouses in the two ports of the Kingdom. Indeed, GRAVELEAU has already launched this concept in Casablanca, in 2000, on its site which covers an area of 6 000 square metres.

“This concept – comments Frédéric SEILLIER, General Manager of GRAVELEAU MOROCCO – revolutionises the procedures of customs clearance in Morocco, by allowing the customs clearance procedures in Import and Export, within our agency. By having on site, permanently, agents of the customs administrations, the logistic and customs processing is centralized ; hence the control of the placing at disposal of the goods, a big flexibility and an improvement of the groupage’s processing. Thanks to this bonded warehouse – carries on Frédéric SEILLIER – we would not have to wait for the customs clearance of the whole lots of the semi-trailers anymore before beginning the deliveries. In this way, the local operators of the North/East Region will have their goods in a very shorter deadline.”

By offering to its customers, the more innovative technical solutions, GRAVELEAU MOROCCO gives to itself the opportunity to keep its lead position on a market where the group is present since 1984.

We have to remind that GRAVELEAU is also established in Tunisia since 1989 with 2 sites, one in Tunis and the other one in Bennane in South Tunisia.
