GRAVELEAU give wings to their OVERSEAS activity in BELGIUM

Having formed their first road transport alliance in 1995 through a holding in the Transport Company, BOULANGER S.A. (Mouscron/BELGIUM), GRAVELEAU have just signed a new deal, this time in airfreight, acquiring a 100% stake in the family company, BOULANGER Airfreight S.A.

IATA-approved BOULANGER Airfreight S. A. has at its disposal a warehouse built on 1,500 sq.m. in ZAVENTEM, BRUSSEL'S airport district. The Company employs a team of 12 people, under the responsibility of Managing Director, Mario FESTJENS.

“The new acquisition, explained Vincent TOUYA – Director of the OVERSEAS activity (accounting for 11% of the Group's total turnover) - demonstrates GRAVELEAU's determination to expand intercontinental network, now benefiting from a major development platform in BELGIUM.”

Interesting to note that in 2001, three OVERSEAS units sprang up in subsidiaries belonging to the GRAVELEAU network, namely in PORTUGAL, MOROCCO and TUNISIA.
