GRAVELEAU invest in POLAND

Already present in POLAND since 1992 (initially at CZESTOCHOWA then subsequently at LODZ, Poland's historic textiles capital), GRAVELEAU have just built a brand new plant in STRYKOW, on the outskirts of LODZ.

With a working area of 2,000 sq.m. and 25 door-to-pier containers, this new production facility will allow the local team to offer its customers integrated management for its TRANSPORT, CUSTOMS and STORAGE services.

Although textile traffic initially constituted the core activity of GRAVELEAU POLSKA (GRAVELEAU S.A.'s 100% owned subsidiary), GRAVELEAU have today opened their customer portfolio to numerous sectors of activity structured around three main markets: France, Portugal and Italy.

"Having posted a 45% increase in turnover at GRAVELEAU POLSKA over the last three years, the construction of this new facility" – explained a spokesman for GRAVELEAU – "demonstrates our confidence in the strong development potential in POLAND; a country comprising 40 million inhabitants that also offers a highly atomised industrial presence.”

It is interesting to note that GRAVELEAU is not merely "testing the water" in Eastern Europe, since the Group has been present in HUNGARY since 1991 and in ROMANIA since 1997.
